Obituary
“Orlan Sackett, one of the pioneer settlers of Roscoe, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Scofield, near Zumbrota, on Wednesday, Dec. 13, after an illness of several weeks duration. As above stated Mr. Sackett was a pioneer of Roscoe, where he lived for many years, finally selling his farm and drifting away as so many others did before and have since done. No particulars are obtainable at this time, but will be published later. Deceased was about 80 of age.”
